So Kayden dealt with it while his own mind ran rampant. Kayden felt like the whole ordeal was just a waste because he still liked guys and he spent almost every night crying himself to sleep. Eventually, his parents noticed this and he told them everything from the bullying to his conflicting desires. They didn’t want to have to send him to St. Jude’s, but it was the only alternative school they could send him to that would accept him for almost no money. Before he left, Kayden’s parents told him one thing: don’t let them change him because he is who he is.
